Beautiful Poppy
We have been very saddened this weekend, following the death of Lizzie's wonderful black Labrador, Poppy. Lovely Poppy, who grew to be a grand old lady yet remained full of excitement and enthusiasm until the very end, leaves behind a huge dog-shaped hole in all our lives. In her departure we feel much sadness, yet her beautiful memory remains etched on our hearts forever. Goodnight Poppy; I hope you have fun at Heaven's all-day buffet.

Sadly, I only met Poppy, just the once. I was immediately struck by the love that you all showed to her. What a wonderful, caring and devoted family she was fortunate to have during her life. And how fortunate you all were to have Poppy as part of your lives for so long. I'm sure that she'll remain in your lives forever because no one can ever take away such fine, precious memories. Lots of love xxx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful words for a beautiful girl:). An all day buffet would be her idea of heaven as you know and I hope that's the treatment all dogs receive when they pass away. She will leave a huge hole in our lives but I'm grateful for the time we had with her and I'm glad you met her too Sal as she loved meeting new people. Thank you for all the love and support xxx
